Why on earth did the Blue Jays demote Nate Pearson? (Ep. 119)
It’s a SEASON SWEEP of the Atlanta Braves and the Toronto Blue Jays appear to be finally firing on all cylinders. The starters all went at least five innings (even Ross Stripling!) and the lineup completed a handful of miraculous comebacks. Mark, Bryson and Jacob banter about the series, then discuss the questionable move to demote Nate Pearson to triple-A Buffalo/Trenton instead of letting him get comfortable in the majors. Manoah Watch returns with Alek Manoah’s no-hit bid earlier this week and the crew discusses the possible reasons for why the Blue Jays would keep him in triple-A. Lastly, we talk about Mark’s trip to double-A New Hampshire and his foul ball grab.
